Ascend (Poem)

Ascend (Poem):

Hello there, ladies and gentlemen,
My name is Max,
I like to write stories, poems and draw,

My mother gave me a good brain,
For she is the goddess of wisdom,
Medicine, crafts and war,

I wish to use my gifts,
But joining Mensa wasn't enough,
I seek knowledge that I can actually apply,

I want to create many things,
I want to build the new world,
I have so much I must do before I die,

Humanity has many problems,
Some of which I hope to solve,
But some answers will be difficult to find,

But I am also a child of the dragon,
My aggression pushes me forward,
And I can achieve anything when I apply my mind,

I enjoy the life on this planet,
The lushness is divine,
It must be preserved and maintained,

Because for all the trees that we cut,
And for all the fuels we have burned,
What, in the end, have we gained?

They must be regrown,
And micropropagation is the answer,
With speed it can bring back what is now gone,

We can replant a whole forest,
We can bring back life to the abyss,
We can create an ecosystem that's healthy and strong,

It doesn't have to end,
Condemned, we are not,
The carbon dioxide can be reduced after all,

We must prevent their emissions,
And we must establish a new Eden,
We cannot allow any more trees to fall,

Only if they're sustainably replaced,
And one tree becomes ten more,
We can make our planet flourish once again,

Mother Earth is crying,
So let her voice be heard,
Let's help make her deep wounds mend,

So abandon your old ways,
Embrace the dragon instead,
We have a whole world to save,

Break free your heavy chains,
Let the red aura engulf you,
And remember that you are nobody's slave,

Awaken your eyes,
Awaken your mind,
Join me, grow your wings and ascend,

Because I will never give up,
Not until ascension is achieved,
And I will fight with fury until the very end!
